Talking to someone about your HIV status will help you deal with your own feelings. Sometimes it's easier to first talk to a person who isn't too close to you, but who you can trust. However, your family knows you well and will understand your needs.
It's also important to talk to your sexual partner. This isn't easy! But the longer you wait, the harder it will be. Be brave and do it :-). If you don't know how, take your partner to the clinic and ask the counsellor to help you.
